Scarecrows must be visible from the public highway and in the village. If you live outside the central part of the village you can put your entry on The Square - though you must tell us if you intend to do this so that we can allocate a space.

In recent years some exhibitors have made large spectacular animated displays. While these are greatly enjoyed by the public, we feel that they do tend to distort the competition. We've decided to award a separate prize for this type of exhibit.
